Wooden Boy was a mischievous puppet who had trouble following directions and doing the right thing. He got himself, and his beloved Geppetto, into all kinds of trouble as he ran around looking for some way to become a real boy. And, as you’ll remember, his nose grew longer with each lie he told. How to Play Wooden Boy

Hold on to your nose and get the adventure started by choosing how many lines to play (from 1-20), selecting a bet per line amount (from .05 to $50) then hitting “Spin”.

Lines

Use the up and down arrows to choose how many lines you want to play per spin.

Scatter symbols

The Fairy symbol is the scatter in this game. They’re also key to unlocking the bonus round.

Wild Symbols

The Wooden Boy is Wild, and when he appears he expands to cover all three rows on the reel. He substitutes for any symbol except Scattered Fairies.

Getting to the Bonus Rounds

The bonus round is triggered when 3, 4 or 5 Fairies appear.

Playing the Bonus Rounds

You’ll receive a number of free spins, depending on how many Fairies you hit to win the bonus round. 3 Fairies earns 5 free spins, 4 earns 10 spins and 5 Fairies ears 15 free spins.

The story behind the game

Pinocchio first poked his nose into popular culture in 1883, in a book called, appropriately enough, The Adventures of Pinocchio. Of course since then he’s appeared in everything from movies to lunch boxes. But it was that original story that gave us all the classic stuff – the growing nose, telling lies and wanting to be a real boy. Interestingly, that original story also features all kinds of crazy stuff most of us have forgotten, like an enormous serpent that tries to munch the little puppet, but then laughs so hard at the panicky Pinocchio, he dies from a burst artery. If you’re sitting there saying “I remember that part of the story”, you better go look in the mirror, because I bet your nose is about a foot long by now.
